The ddHiFi brand breaks the stereotype that high-quality audio must be expensive, offering a wide range of Hi-Fi accessories at affordable prices. The idea of making high-quality accessories accessible to the masses came to engineer and designer Demond Din over seven years ago when he was working with reputable companies like FiiO and Oppo. With a wealth of experience in designing and creating audio gadgets, Demond founded Guangzhou DD Electronics Technology Co. in July 2017 and registered the ddHiFi trademark.

The first part of the name "ddHiFi" stands for "do design," highlighting the brand's foundational principle of original design. The company manufactures a variety of adapters, converters, and cables for connection with various modern gadgets, including smartphones and headphones. The significance of these small devices for high-quality portable audio cannot be overstated—without them, audiophiles would never achieve the highest sound quality from their gadgets.
The reality is that there are still very few smartphones on the market with high-quality discrete DACs, as phone developers tend to focus more on large memory capacity or advanced photo and video cameras. This fact became the starting point for ddHiFi. Additionally, phone manufacturers are increasingly abandoning the 3.5mm headphone jack, much to the dismay of wired model enthusiasts. This is where ddHiFi offers its technical solutions to these problems.
For example, take the standard DJ30A adapter, which converts a 3.5mm stereo output to a balanced 4.4mm (Pentacon). While it's not a problem to create an adapter that converts from a 4.4mm balanced connection to a traditional 3.5mm one—a practice already common among many manufacturers—creating an adapter that converts from 3.5mm to 4.4mm is a different story. This could easily result in a "distorted" signal transmission or even a short circuit. Therefore, in this sense, the DJ30A is truly unique. The company has many such "aces up its sleeve," and the key is to choose the right product with the necessary characteristics from ddHiFi's vast assortment.
Gradually, the range of products expanded year by year. Just a few years ago, ddHiFi began producing its unique headphone models, which we will discuss later in the article.

One of the company's most famous products is the ddHiFi Janus3 E2023S Decoding Set in-ear headphones with dual connectors and a detachable cable. They are named after the two-faced ancient Roman god Janus, reflecting the duality seen in the presence of both 2Pin and MMCX connectors. Inside, there is a 10mm dynamic driver and an advanced system with two acoustic chambers. Instead of a traditional printed circuit board, a flexible FPCB is used as an interface between copper wires and the connector, optimizing the circuit and improving sound reproduction.

First Steps
One of ddHiFi's first notable devices is the portable headphone amplifier with a digital-to-analog converter, the ddHiFi TC25i. The device features a standard audio output on one end and a Lightning connector on the other (it is also designed for connecting headphones with a 2.5mm jack). With the release of this model, ddHiFi quickly gained a reputation as a high-quality and affordable audio accessory brand. The high quality of the adapters is ensured by a fully automated assembly process and the use of precious metals and alloys—for example, silver and highly purified copper are used as conductor materials in the products.
Precious metals are also widely used in cable production. For example, the ddHiFi BC120B headphone cable consists of four 1.2mm conductors made of silver-plated, high-purity monocrystalline copper, each containing 22 strands of 0.08mm thickness. All metal parts, including the plug and connectors, are made of steel, and the cable itself is equipped with stabilizing buckles every 40 cm. All this contributes to higher signal transmission accuracy.
A Successful Continuation
After the successful launch of the TC25i model, the company offered an improved version of the portable DAC-amplifier for headphones with a standard audio output and a USB Type-C digital input. This model deserves a closer look. The ddHiFi TC35Pro Eye2 USB-C looks luxurious and respectable with its matte steel body and gold accents. It also feels like a stylish designer item. The TC35Pro Eye2 is also very practical: while the TC25i may wear out over time, the TC35Pro Eye2's solid metal body and reinforced built-in DAC cable completely eliminate this problem and more effectively protect against electromagnetic interference, ensuring nearly lossless sound transmission.
Despite its small size, the DAC-amplifier reproduces Hi-Res Audio with a resolution of up to 32-bit / 384 kHz, covering the full frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a power output of 65 mW at 32 ohms. This device can be considered an optimal replacement for a bulky amplifier, allowing you to use a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet as a source while enhancing the sound quality to a higher level. The excellent characteristics of this model are ensured by the CS43131 chip, which boasts a high signal-to-noise ratio of 122 dB and minimal harmonic distortion of 0.0004%.
