The fifth generation of the popular wireless speaker has become even better. It uses the new Bluetooth 5.1 for connection to a source, whereas the previous generation of Charge speakers worked with Bluetooth 4.2.
The speaker is completely dust and waterproof according to the IP67 standard. The manufacturer claims that the speaker has received "impressive sound clarity and deep bass."
JBL Charge 5 is equipped with the JBL PartyBoost feature, allowing users to connect multiple JBL speakers together.
The playback time is 20 hours autonomously - the company has not made any changes to this at the moment, and no competitor has achieved such a result yet.
The design of Charge 5 has not undergone any significant changes; it is still recognizable. A pair of silicone bumpers have been added to the side passive radiators to protect the speaker from falls.
