The Yamaha WS-B1A Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is perfect for sounding out a small room. However, if you want, you can also take the model to the countryside, as it is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery and has IP67 protection against moisture and sand. Thanks to its small size Yamaha WS-B1A will fit comfortably in a backpack or bag. The speaker is available in three finishes: black, dark or light gray.
The speaker cabinet has a pleasantly rounded shape and is covered on the sides with a protective cloth. Underneath is a 55mm wideband driver and two passive bass drivers. Such a solution has proven itself in compact acoustics and gives rich and dynamic sound. The power of the built-in amplifier Yamaha WS-B1A is 10 W, it works in class D, so it consumes power supply energy economically and practically does not heat up when working. The model is equipped with a 5th generation Bluetooth receiver that provides stable wireless connection at a distance of up to 10 meters from the signal source.
The Yamaha WS-B1A's controls are located on the top panel. These are touch buttons with clear icons, which are used to adjust the volume and start/stop playback of songs. Of course, you can also control the speaker from a connected wireless device. A multicolor LED is used to indicate the modes of operation. The model has an additional function in the form of improved voice transmission - when activated, speech reproduction becomes more articulate.
The built-in battery has a capacity of about 12 hours of music listening at medium volume. It is charged via the USB-C connector (cable included). To save battery power, Yamaha WS-B1A automatically switches to standby mode when there is no input signal for a certain time. There are screw mounts on the speaker cabinet, which can be used to mount it on a wall bracket (available separately).
