Effects Processor Teenage Engineering PO-32 Tonic Black

Compact enough to fit in your pocket and powered by a pair of AAA batteries, the Teenage Engineering PO-32 Pocket Operator Tonic is an analog drum synthesizer with 16 built-in sounds and unlimited external patches, created in collaboration with Magnus Lindström from Sonic Charges. Indeed, this product was developed by Magnus and Teenage Engineering to embody the sound of the famous microtonic drum synthesizer Sonic Charge in a pocket operator form-factor, recreating the generators, envelopes, and filters of the original Microtonic plug-in module.

With 16 built-in sounds and 16 customizable effects, the PO-32 is not just an exact copy of Microtonic. Instead, you can create your own sounds using the Microtonic plug-in module and transfer them from your computer to the PO-32 using the built-in microphone. This way, you can use software to play back sound in an easily customizable analog format. You can also share your tuned sounds with other PO-32 users in the same way as described above. And vice versa, you can receive data from the PO-32 of your friends/colleagues.

Device parameters can be locked, and the 16-step sequencer, saving 16 patterns in memory, can be combined into a composition. Built-in clock and alarm clock expand the creative possibilities of the instrument. The jam-sync function with 3.5mm audio input jacks allows you to connect multiple synthesizer devices to each other. The foldable stand makes playback easier, and the speaker connection jacks on the rear panel allow you to connect the device to a larger sound system. The optional custom-made pro case silicone case (sold separately) provides non-slip feet, battery protection, and professional buttons for this truly unique music-making device.
