The FiiO FA9 is equipped with six Knowles balanced armature drivers, featuring a specially designed 4-way crossover and an ultra-long low-frequency sound tube for the best sound reproduction across all frequency ranges. The SWFK-31736 drivers handle the high to ultra-high frequencies, the FiiO and Knowles EJ-33877 drivers handle the mid frequencies, and the HODVTEC-31618 drivers handle the low frequencies.
The FA9 is the first FiiO model to use Knowles EJ drivers, which were previously only used in other flagship in-ear monitors from different brands.
To achieve the purest sound quality and ensure that multiple drivers do not interfere with each other, the FA9 utilizes a specially designed 80.6mm sound tube, which acts as a low-frequency filter.
The use of electronic crossover technology allows you to adjust the sound exactly as you need it, using three sound adjustment switches. Adjusting the resistance, low, mid, and high frequencies allows you to achieve the best sound on different devices and for various genres.
The FiiO FA9 headphones are made using precise 3D printing techniques with skin-friendly resin. They are very lightweight and ergonomic, providing a comfortable and secure fit.
The front panel features a unique diamond-cut design, which provides a rich and outstanding appearance. Looking at the FiiO FA9 from different angles, you will be able to see a dazzling effect reminiscent of countless stars in the night sky.
The included cable is made of silver-plated 8-core monocrystalline copper, providing perfect sound quality without the need for cable upgrades. However, the headphones are equipped with MMCX connectors, making it easy to replace the cable in case of wear or for compatibility with connectors other than the standard 3.5mm.
