The slim bezel is made using UTB technology, which provides a smooth and flat front surface that seamlessly fits into the intended space. The grilles are held in place by magnets, making installation convenient and quick. This design noticeably saves time compared to traditional flange speakers.
Features:
- Low-frequency driver: 1 x 130 mm
- High-frequency driver: 1 x 16 mm
- Sensitivity: 90 dB
- Impedance: 8 Ohms
- Frequency range: 52 Hz - 20 kHz
The KEF Ci130ER speakers are designed and manufactured to the same standards as all KEF architectural speakers, using the proprietary Uni-Q technology. The in-wall speakers Ci130ER feature a 130 mm diameter driver. The tweeter has a 16 mm size. The diaphragm materials are plastic polymer for the mid-range/woofer and aluminum for the tweeter. The reproduced bass corresponds to a frequency of 52 Hz. Maximum power input: 80 Watts.
With their high power, wide frequency range, and even sound dispersion, a large number of speaker systems will not be required to provide sound reinforcement for a room. In situations where four or six typical ceiling speakers would be needed for even coverage, sometimes two KEF Ci130ER speakers will suffice while filling every corner of the room with sound.
The facade of the speaker, which is predominantly occupied by the Uni-Q driver, has a special shape with a rounded edge. The computer-designed profile of the rounding creates a seamless integration effect of the speaker into the ceiling plane without sound wave refraction at the diaphragm border.
The model is moisture-resistant and meets the requirements applied to equipment installed on marine vessels. The grilles are coated with a special composition that protects against corrosion, and the plastic housing is resistant to ultraviolet radiation. This speaker can be installed in a bathroom, on a yacht, or in swimming pools.
