The fifth generation of the popular wireless speaker has become even better. It now uses the new Bluetooth 5.1 for connection to a source, while the previous generation of Charge speakers worked with Bluetooth 4.2.
The speaker is fully dust and waterproof according to IP67 standard. The manufacturer claims that the speaker has received "impressive clarity of sound and deep bass."
JBL Charge 5 is equipped with JBL PartyBoost feature so that the user can connect multiple JBL speakers together.
The playback time is 20 hours - the company has not made any changes at this time, but no competitor has yet achieved this result.
The design of Charge 5 has not undergone any major changes, it is still recognizable. A pair of silicone bumpers have been added to the side passive radiators to protect the speaker from falls.
