The fifth generation of the popular wireless speaker has become even better. It uses the new Bluetooth 5.1 for connection to the source, compared to the previous generation Charge speakers which worked with Bluetooth 4.2.
The speaker is completely dust and waterproof according to the IP67 standard. The manufacturer claims that the speaker has received "impressive clarity of sound and deep bass".
The JBL Charge 5 features JBL PartyBoost function so that users can connect multiple JBL speakers together.
The playback time is 20 hours - at this point, the company has not made any changes, however, no competitor has achieved such a result yet.
The design of the Charge 5 has not undergone any major changes, it is still recognizable. A couple of silicone bumpers have been added to the side passive radiators to protect the speaker from falls.
