The Final D8000 DC are flagship planar magnetic headphones from Japanese audio equipment manufacturer Final Audio. They offer a balanced sound suitable for both music listening and professional monitoring, and represent an enhanced version of the D8000 model.

Drawing from their experience, the company reworked the design to improve sound quality. However, it's important to note that this solution is far from budget-friendly.
The new model features an improved form of the Air Film Damping System (AFDS). The redesigned planar magnetic transducer includes a diaphragm made of super-light aluminum, reducing the weight of the vibrational system by about a third, resulting in faster response and improved clarity in high frequencies. Each part of the surrounding metal grille has been reworked around the diaphragm.
Constructed with a magnesium-aluminum alloy housing and Washi paper earpads and headband, the DC is now 120 grams lighter than its predecessor, the D8000. The headband arch has been optimized for a soft fit to ensure comfort.
The earpads are finished with traditional Japanese "Washi" paper, providing durability and comfort.
The headphones come with a transport case, 4.4mm balanced TRRRS cable, and a four-pin XLR cable.
