FATfreq x HBB Deuce is an in-ear monitor (IEM) developed by Singaporean brand FATfreq in collaboration with renowned audio reviewer Chris Bradshaw, better known as HBB (Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews). Designed specifically for bassheads, the model combines the brand's signature technologies with a year's worth of fine-tuned sound.

Throughout the year, Deuce was carefully tuned by leading reviewer HBB, also known as Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews, undergoing numerous tuning and design stages. Each stage aimed to enhance the clarity, depth, and dynamics of the sound. HBB's extensive collection of hip-hop, rock, and classical tracks heavily influenced Deuce's tuning direction, with significant efforts made to excel in these genres. The meticulous process also included valuable feedback from professional musicians, including bassists, drummers, and synthesizer keyboardists, who tested Deuce in both studio and concert conditions. The result of such dedication is an IEM that provides unparalleled sound quality and a sense of total immersion.
Dynamic Chambers
The new FATfreq acoustic system features enhanced acoustic networks that control the propagation of sound waves to achieve optimal detail and accuracy. Specialized bass chambers optimize airflow to enhance bass tonality and depth.
Low Frequency Boost Adapter

Designed to enhance listening quality through additional low-frequency amplification. Carefully crafted from high-quality components, including pure silver wiring, this adapter provides a ~10dB boost in low frequencies at 150 Hz. Ideal for those seeking deeper and more powerful bass without sacrificing accuracy and sound quality.
Signature Sonar La Trompa Technology
Inspired by the anatomy of a traditional trombone, FATfreq uses exponential trombone curvature to adjust amplification and improve high frequency tonality through acoustics. Provides smooth, natural sound on high frequencies, supported by pleasant timbre on mid and low frequencies.
Phase Alignment

The absence of DSP in IEMs means that phase must be aligned in multi-driver earphones using acoustic delay. Using proprietary structures, engineers were able to align low, mid, and high frequencies so they consistently reach your eardrum. Providing the accuracy and resolution of sound required on stage and in the studio.
Housing and Cable

The headphones feature an ergonomic glossy black housing with textured gray accents and a special protrusion for secure in-ear fit. The included premium-grade "Silver Blood" cable is made of silver-plated copper. While the headphones have linear impedance, they require a quality powerful source (DAC/amplifier) to fully unlock their potential.
