The new Px8, according to the brand representatives, will be the headphones with the best sound among Bowers & Wilkins models. The Px8 features brand-new carbon drivers, created based on technology used in the tweeters of the 700 series speakers.

The carbon diffuser enhances resolution, detail, and sound accuracy. The drivers are angled in the earcups to create a natural sound perception effect, as if listening to a speaker system. The Active Noise Cancellation algorithm (ANC) used in Px7 S2 and Px8 is based on the same patented noise-canceling system as Px7, already considered one of the best on the market. It does not distort or alter the sound character, while cutting off ambient noise.
The microphones in the Px8 have been repositioned compared to previous models to improve call quality. There are six microphones in total: two measure noise in the earcup, two handle ambient sound, and two provide clear voice transmission during calls. The new microphone positions allow for better voice capture and more effective wind noise reduction.
The headband design has also been improved for greater comfort during extended listening sessions. The fit of the earcups has been optimized for eyeglass wearers. Effort and cushion construction have been optimized for comfortable headphone wear with glasses.
Control and customization of the Px8 are available in the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. Users can access an equalizer for sound tuning, as well as control ANC modes and transparency.
