Fazor - unique technology
Fazor elements are unique to the Audeze LCD-X and LCD-XC models, helping to direct the flow of sound inside the headphones. This application has resulted in improved phase frequency response, expanded frequency range, smoother frequency response, and a remarkable soundstage. The LCD-X drivers have been specifically designed to work with a wide range of audio sources. The new Audeze model can be used both in the studio and with a portable player!
These headphones are capable of providing a high level of volume even without using a headphone amplifier, although when paired with a high-quality amplifier, the sound quality will be truly impressive. The LCD-X cups are made of polished anodized aluminum and come with very comfortable angled earpads made of either natural sheepskin or microsuede (synthetic material). The earpads are made of a specially designed foam material with optimal hardness and acoustical balance.

Diaphragm thinner than a human hair
The ultra-thin diaphragm of the headphones is made of material used in the space industry. It responds to a signal four times faster than the diaphragm of conventional headphones, producing significantly fewer distortions, providing higher resolution, and better conveying musical images.
Distortions close to zero
The dual-sided magnet array distributes the driving force evenly across the entire surface of the diaphragm, thereby reducing distortions to nearly zero.
Internal waveguides
Special elements (patented Fazor™ technology) divert internal sound waves to avoid resonances and achieve a more accurate output signal shape.
