The 64 Audio N8 Custom in-ear monitors are custom hybrid earphones with nine drivers. Renowned producer and bass guitarist Nathan East was involved in the development of these earphones. Utilizing Tia, Apex, 3D Fit, and LID technologies, the N8 Custom offers 64 Audio's signature balanced sound in a completely new way. Tia Technology
The special design of the drivers and housing without acoustic sound tubes provides a transparent and realistic sound. This system reduces unwanted resonance and distortion, allowing the high-frequency Tia driver to sound freely in one large sound tube. The N8 Custom features two key elements of the Tia system: the Tia driver and the shared-sound-tube design.
Apex Technology
This technology is designed to relieve listener fatigue by reducing excessive air pressure in the ear canal. This ventilation allows musicians and music lovers to use the earphones comfortably for longer periods.
The freely moving air expands the soundstage and provides a more natural sound. It also preserves bass frequencies and helps the listener distinguish individual instruments. The Apex module is available in two options: m15 (-15 dB) and m20 (-20 dB).
LID Technology
By adjusting the non-linear impedance of the drivers, this technology ensures proper interaction with different sources. Whether you're a musician connecting to various devices at different concerts or studios, or an audiophile listening from low-impedance sources, LID guarantees that your IEMs will sound consistently high-quality.
3D Printing and Hand Assembly
The main housing is 3D-printed using hypoallergenic rigid acrylic. The colors and materials used by 64 Audio were specifically chosen for durability. These materials also allow digitally applied images to maintain detail.
Once the housing is printed, the production team assembles the remaining components by hand. All custom earphones are tuned and crafted by hand based on your unique impressions. Wearing specially fitted earphones helps isolate external noise and provides a more comfortable listening experience compared to most universal earphones.
