Teenage Engineering EP–2350 Ting is a portable performance microphone with 4 vocal effects, 4 triggerable samples, adjustable FX parameters, 3.5mm output, powered by 2xAAA batteries or USB-C; color in the style of EP-40.
EP–2350 Ting from Teenage Engineering is a stage microphone designed for memorable performances with built-in processing and the ability to trigger samples, aimed at MCs, live performers, and users of the EP series devices. The device combines vocal FX processor functions and trigger controller in a compact handheld format with a design inspired by 80s CB radio.
The microphone features 4 built-in effects (Echo, Echo+Spring, Pixie, and Robot) with adjustable parameters during performances. It allows for launching 4 interchangeable samples directly from the microphone's body. Custom effect presets can be edited via a JSON file, allowing for sound adaptation for a specific set.
Connection is made through a coiled cable with a 3.5mm Line Out jack, ensuring compatibility not only with EP-40 Riddim Supertone, EP-133, and EP-1320, but also with regular mixing consoles and sound systems.
The device can be powered by 2 AAA batteries or through USB-C. The construction is designed for stage use and comes with a clip for attachment to a belt or clothing.
