The PMC 10 SUB XBD is a sophisticated 10-inch low-frequency enclosure designed as a foundation for the most compact systems of the new main monitor series (such as the PMC10 XBD). Despite its smaller size, this module provides powerful bass of reference level, serving as an important addition to main monitors in small and medium studios. At its core is the new 10-inch (250 mm) Radial bass driver from PMC, which, thanks to the optimized voice coil and assembly engine, provides exceptional speed, accurate transient response, and deep extension necessary for professional monitoring.
The subwoofer uses the legendary Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) technology, which, combined with the innovative LaminairX ventilation system, eliminates turbulent air noise and provides a linear low-frequency response even at high volume levels. The module is fully integrated into the PMC digital control ecosystem, equipped with an efficient Class D amplifier, and controlled through the advanced SoundAlign2 interface. In the XBD configuration, adding this module increases the system's maximum noise level by 3 dB and significantly increases headroom, ensuring full dynamic performance in demanding stereo systems and Dolby Atmos applications.
Where greater bass power and excursion are required, a second PMC10 subwoofer can be connected in series and powered by the same Master36 with a total power of 2000 W.
