    Description

KZ x HBB PR2 is an improved flagship model based on new technology from Knowledge Zenith, a company known for developing in-channel monitor headphones for sound engineers, musicians and listening to high quality lossless recordings. The second model of planar headphones is developed with blogger HBB (Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews). The main feature of KZ PR2 is a planar driver, which provides high detail and accuracy of sound of low, mid and high frequencies. The headphone housing is made of translucent plastic and metal, has a comfortable shape and fit, which allows you to use them in noisy places, such as in the subway, as well as during performances and sports.

    Key Features:

    • Improved flagship model built with new technology
    • A planar driver that delivers highly detailed and accurate bass, midrange and treble sound
    • The inside of the KZ x HBB PR2 case is made of translucent plastic
    • The frequency range is from 20 Hz to 40 kHz
    • Impedance - 15 ohms

The headphones are connected using the detachable 2-pin cable that is included. The KZ PR2s also come with memory foam ear cushions for added comfort. The frequency range is from 20Hz to 40kHz and the impedance is 15 ohms. The newly developed 13.2mm planar magnetic driver is a key feature that sets the KZ x HBB PR2 apart from other headphones on the market. Planar headphones feature a driver that utilizes a thin and lightweight diaphragm with a conductive circuit. This design allows planar headphones to deliver highly detailed and accurate sound with low distortion and good frequency response compared to traditional dynamic driver headphones. Another feature of the planar drivers used in KZ PR2 is high sensitivity and low impedance compared to classic models with standard drivers.

Low impedance headphones can provide better bass response and better overall sound quality when used with less powerful devices. They are not only suitable for expensive audio cards with high output power, but also for smartphones, laptops and portable players that may not have powerful amplifiers. The volume reserve will be sufficient on any type of device. The inside of the KZ x HBB PR2 case is made of translucent plastic, through which you can see the internal construction of the headphones. The sound guide is made of metal, it has a recess for better grip on the ear cushions and a mesh to protect from dust and dirt.

On the outer side of the earpiece there is a zinc alloy metal panel with small cutouts behind which you can see the mesh.KZ x HBB PR2 come with ear cushions made of quality material with memory effect and a silicone insert for a better grip on the sound guide. They fit snugly on the sound guide and will not come off when you remove the headphones. The memory foam material provides quality sound isolation as well as greater comfort during prolonged use. Unlike silicone ear pads, foam ear pads do not exert pressure on the ear canal, while the porous memory foam material easily adapts to any shape and fits well on the ears. The snug fit of the headphones provides a more pleasing frequency response with the separation of low and upper frequencies. Also included is a 120cm cable with silver-plated wires and comfortable silicone earpieces, it connects to the KZ PR2 headphones using a 2-pin connector. A standard 3.5mm jack is used to connect the source. If desired, the cable can be replaced with any other cable or a Bluetooth adapter can be connected.

    • The lowest frequency, Hz
      20
    • The highest frequency, kHz

The upper limit of the frequencies reproduced by the device. The human ear hears the standard frequency range: 20 Hz – 20000 Hz.

      40
    • Impedance, Ohms

No higher than 32 Ohms for smartphone headphones. When using a good player or amplifier, it can be up to 100 Ohms. For stationary models you should coordinate the impedance with the amplifier power

    • Driver type

Most of the headphones are dynamic but there are electrostatic, isodynamic, etc.

      Glossary of terms
      isodynamic

It has a flat diffuser that is a very light, thin membrane with tracks of a "sound coil" put to it.
