Description

The Klipsch The Sevens speakers are designed with a clean retro style and come with removable grilles with magnetic mounting. The speakers feature a 1-inch LTS compression tweeter with Linear Travel Suspension technology and a titanium dome. The tweeter is housed in the signature Tractrix horn, ensuring precise directivity and detailed sound. The 6.5-inch fiber composite woofer handles the mid/low range delivery.

Features:

  • Speakers: 1 tweeter with titanium dome, 1-inch diameter (25.4 mm), Tractrix horn, 1 low-frequency driver, 6.5-inch diameter (16.5 cm)
  • Frequency range: 39 Hz to 25 kHz
  • Sensitivity: 112 dB
  • RMS power: 200 W (2 x 100 W - low: 60 W / high: 20 W)
  • Peak power: 400 W
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • Additional input: 3.5 mm mini-jack
  • Switchable line/phono preamp input with 2 x RCA
  • Audio USB port (Type B)
  • Optical digital audio input
  • HDMI ARC input

The active speakers feature low-noise D-class amplifiers, providing 100 W per channel (bi-amping connection, two 60-watt for mid/low drivers and two 20-watt for tweeters). The passive speaker connects to the active one using a special cable with 4-pin connectors. The Klipsch The Sevens also include an MM phono preamp for connecting turntables, a high-performance DSP processor, dynamic bass EQ for bass enhancement, and a DAC supporting PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz via USB input. The model also features a Bluetooth receiver with AAC and aptX HD codec support for wireless audio streaming from Bluetooth devices.

A 3.5mm Aux jack is available for connecting portable sources. There is an optical input and USB port for computer connection. An active subwoofer can be connected to the Klipsch The Sevens using the Sub Out output, and a small standard remote control is provided for remote control of the speakers.

The cabinet has a rear-firing port with a Tractrix horn-shaped output tube embedded in its back. Two finishes are available (natural walnut veneer or matte black finish). The active speaker's top panel integrates two miniature metal "wheels" for volume adjustment and source selection. The rear panel of the active speaker has a panel with a set of connectors, including an HDMI port with ARC support, which is ideal for connecting to a TV panel.
