The fifth generation of the popular wireless speaker has become even better. It now uses the new Bluetooth 5.1 for connection to the source, compared to the previous generation 4.2 used by the Charge speakers.
The speaker is completely dust and waterproof to the IP67 standard. The manufacturer claims that the speaker has received "impressive clarity of sound and deep bass".
The JBL Charge 5 is equipped with JBL PartBoost function, allowing the user to connect multiple JBL speakers together.
The playback time is 20 hours - at this point, the company has not made any changes, but no competitor has yet achieved this result.
The Charge 5 design has not undergone major changes, it is still recognizable. A pair of silicone bumpers have been added to the side passive radiators to protect the speaker from falls.
