The Jamo Concert Element 50 is a compact two-way bookshelf speaker system created by the revived Danish brand. It combines the fidelity to Scandinavian Hi-Fi traditions and the aesthetics of modern interior design. The model was developed in collaboration with the famous Danish studio HarritSørensen and the premium speaker manufacturer SB Acoustics.
Key Features and Design
The main concept of the series is "circle over rectangle." The round speaker module is visually extended beyond the ultra-shallow cabinet, making the speakers the compositional center of the system.
True bookshelf format: These speakers easily fit on standard bookshelves, consoles, or sideboards where regular large speakers won't fit.
Flexible placement: The downward-firing port directs airflow to the base of the speaker, reducing the bass dependence on the distance to the wall. The speakers can be placed close to surfaces without compromising sound clarity.
Premium materials: The 165mm woofer is made of natural Scandinavian flax fiber, complemented by a four-layer voice coil and the Jamo Phase Plug. The high frequencies are reproduced by a 25mm soft dome tweeter with a waveguide.
Sound Characteristics
Despite its compact size, the Jamo Concert Element 50 delivers full, mature Hi-Fi sound with a power output of up to 150W. Tuning for a specific cabinet volume provides high detail and minimal distortion. The speakers have a sensitivity of 89.5 dB and reproduce a frequency range from 45 Hz to 22 kHz (±3 dB), confidently handling deep bass down to 40 Hz (-6 dB).
