The Genelec 8010AP active monitor is the most compact in the 8000 series.
The 8010AP can be successfully used for work in small studios. For maximum comfort of use, it features a balanced XLR input and Class D amplifiers for each driver. The monitor is equipped with a 3/4" tweeter and a 3" woofer.

The Genelec 8010AP has a built-in Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) scheme that allows for energy saving. It automatically switches the monitor to sleep mode if no audio signal is present for a certain period of time. Once the signal appears, the monitor will resume full operation. Additionally, if this feature is not required, it can be disabled.
Universal accessories are available for the 8010AP, including an L-shaped desktop stand, which is necessary for optimizing the monitor orientation towards the listener and minimizing sound reflections.
