Babyfreq 2 are in-ear monitors made of biocompatible silicone printed on a 3D printer. This flexible material adapts to the natural movements of your ear, providing a snug fit and therefore a high level of passive noise isolation. Babyfreq 2 is equipped with a hybrid driver system featuring a wide-band dynamic driver and balanced armature tweeter, tuned for balanced and pure sound.
Hybrid Driver System
A 12mm electrodynamic driver provides deep, rich bass and sound density. The high-frequency balanced armature tweeter produces crystal-clear and airy vocals, ensuring naturalness and lightness in the sound.
Tuned for balanced yet attractive sound, Babyfreq 2 builds on the success of the first model, delivering improved vocal sound while maintaining the signature deep bass that FATfreq is known for.
Additional features include waterproof 2-pin connectors for added reliability on stage and on the go. Whether you are a professional musician or an audio enthusiast, Babyfreq 2 are designed to elevate the listening experience to a new level.
FlexiFit Technology
Unlike traditional headphones with a rigid housing, Babyfreq 2 with FlexiFit technology dynamically adjust to changes in the shape of your ear canal during head and mouth movements, such as speaking or singing. This ensures a secure and comfortable fit in any situation, as well as protection for the internal components of your headphones, providing shock absorption for sensitive parts during sudden movements.
Bass Cannon
FATfreq's proprietary development, the Bass Cannon technology, combines custom drivers, bass chambers, and acoustic filters to achieve incredibly deep bass - over 20 dB in the range below 200 Hz with zero loss. Not for the faint-hearted.
3D Contoured Fit
A secure fit allows for a high level of comfort during listening sessions. FATfreq engineers carefully analyze the shape of the headphones, especially in areas of close contact, ensuring an ideal 3D fit.
Linear Impedance
When connecting headphones to different devices, differences in frequency response may occur due to variations in the output impedances of these devices. FATfreq headphones use proprietary circuits to correct nonlinear resistance, ensuring consistent frequency characteristics for all FATfreq headphones when connected to any device - whether it is a phone, amplifier, mixer, or specialized DAC.
Sound Clarity
Inspired by the shape of a French horn, FATfreq engineers have created an internal acoustic channel with a similar shape, featuring exponential expansion and smooth curved lines. This enhances the natural amplification and clarity of high frequencies. As a result, you will hear smooth, natural sound on high frequencies, supported by pleasant tones on mid and low frequencies.
Phase Alignment
The absence of digital amplification in headphones means that for natural and clean sound, engineers must match frequencies in phase using acoustic delay. FATfreq engineers have developed uniquely shaped acoustic chambers and channels to align low, mid, and high frequencies in a way that harmoniously reaches your eardrums. This ensures high accuracy and natural sound necessary for performance on stage and in the studio.
