New Px8, according to the brand representatives, will be the headphones with the best sound among Bowers & Wilkins models. Px8 is equipped with completely new carbon drivers, created based on the technology used in the tweeters of the 700 series acoustic systems.

The carbon diffuser enhances resolution, detail, and sound accuracy. The speakers are angled within the headphones to create a natural sound perception effect, as if listening to an acoustic system. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) algorithm used in Px7 S2 and Px8 is based on the same patented noise cancellation system as Px7, which is already considered one of the best on the market. It does not distort sound or change its character, while cutting out surrounding noise.
The microphone placement in Px8 has been changed compared to its predecessors to improve call quality. There are a total of six microphones: two measure noise in the earcups, two handle ambient sound, and two provide clear voice transmission during calls. The modified microphone placement allows for better voice capture and more efficient wind noise suppression.
The headband construction has also been improved to provide greater comfort during long listening sessions. The fit of the earcups has been enhanced for people who wear glasses. The clamping force and ear cushion design have been optimized in the new model for comfortable wear with glasses.
Control and customization of Px8 are available in the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. Users have access to an equalizer for sound tuning, as well as control over noise cancellation modes and transparency.
