Sound quality is further enhanced by a rigid aluminum housing that reduces resonance, a neodymium magnet and permendur yoke with high saturation flux density and outstanding magnetic properties to further enhance the concentrated magnetic field in the coil gap, and a Shibata stylus on a boron cantilever that accurately tracks the record groove, providing a rich, full spectrum sound. The threaded holes in the AT-OC9XSH housing allow it to be attached to the headshell or integrated tonearm with just two screws; nuts and bolts are not needed.
