Audio Pro SP-1 Active Wireless Speaker with DSP for Commercial Spaces
The Audio Pro SP-1 is a compact active wireless speaker designed to provide clear, balanced audio in commercial and professional environments. Its discreet enclosure, integrated DSP and efficient digital amplification make it an excellent choice for background music, ambient sound and everyday audio playback in retail stores, cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, showrooms and other public spaces.
SP-1 combines straightforward installation with a clean Scandinavian-inspired appearance. The speaker is designed for use with 110–240 V lighting track systems, allowing it to be integrated into an existing ceiling track without creating unnecessary cable clutter. The supplied track adapter makes positioning convenient, while the compact 100 × 100 × 155 mm enclosure blends naturally into a wide range of interiors.
At the heart of the SP-1 is a 2.75-inch full-range driver powered by a 12 W digital Class D amplifier. Advanced DSP processing helps the speaker deliver a controlled and well-balanced sound across a frequency range of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, making it suitable for continuous background music and general commercial audio applications.
The dedicated 1.9 GHz wireless system uses Audio Pro's proprietary network protocol rather than conventional Wi-Fi audio transmission. This helps provide a stable connection with low latency and minimizes the risk of interference or audible delays. Depending on the environment and installation conditions, the wireless range can reach 20–100 metres.
The SP-1 is designed for flexible installation. In addition to wireless operation, it can also be used in a wired configuration, making it easier to adapt the speaker to different commercial audio layouts. The system is compatible with Mac/PC devices and analogue audio sources when used with the appropriate Audio Pro Business components.
For wireless operation as part of the Audio Pro Business system, the SP-1 works with the TX-1 wireless transmitter and VOL-1 wireless volume controller, allowing audio distribution and volume management across multiple zones. This makes the speaker particularly suitable for installations where sound needs to be distributed consistently throughout different areas of a venue.
Available in Black, White and Grey, the Audio Pro SP-1 can be selected to complement the interior design of different commercial spaces without compromising its understated appearance.
