AlphaTheta Euphonia is a professional 4-channel rotary mixer. Euphonia utilizes high-quality 32-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, as well as 96 kHz/64-bit floating-point mixing operations. The sound passes through a transformer circuit developed jointly by AlphaTheta and Rupert Neve Designs.
This transformer circuit adds harmonics to the music and creates a glossy and vibrant sound, smoother for mixing. Low frequencies, such as drums and bass, are more stable and energetic, mid-frequencies, such as vocals and instruments, have more presence and sparkle, and high frequencies, such as hi-hats, sound silky and natural. The transformer breaks down the barrier between vintage live sound and modern electric sound, making mixing easier and surprisingly natural, as if recordings in different styles were originally one musical composition. To make the mixing process more intuitively understandable, the device is equipped with rotary faders that feature a completely new, meticulously designed layout.
The uniquely designed fader mechanism also has the optimal weight. You will notice a difference in the sensations of the knobs when turning them at different speeds: a slow turn applies a smooth load for precise adjustments, while a fast turn applies a limited level of load. The fader volume curves have been optimized based on feedback from numerous DJs, ensuring smooth and natural mixing without an equalizer, allowing you to focus on volume adjustments.
Get an instant visual representation of your mix status and track volume balance by looking at the Energy Visualizer euphonia. It features a meter for each channel, allowing you to visually check levels for all channels and mix smoothly while maintaining the rhythm. You can even monitor the balance of the main output by looking at the spectrum analyzer, which helps you maintain stable and smooth sound in your mixes even during a long set. The isolator knob size is perfect for quick turns from center to maximum or minimum, and the twisting load is perfectly balanced for both quick operation and precise sound quality adjustments, creating a sense of luxury and not too much lightness.
Add one of the built-in send effects or an external effect to the sound of any frequency range from the main isolator. Press the Boost Send button for low, mid or high frequencies, and when you turn the isolator knob, the effect will be applied to that band. Euphonia features 5 built-in spatial effects (delay, Tape Echo, Echo Verb, Reverb, Shimmer) and a high pass filter (HPF), as well as Send/Return, where you can connect external effect units. A dedicated control on each channel allows you to adjust the level of the selected effect. When using Delay, Tape Echo, and Echo Verb, the knob clicks according to the BPM, allowing for quick effect application. When using Reverb and Shimmer, there are no clicks, so you can freely turn the knob to make smooth movements or make subtle changes to find the perfect setting. The model is compatible with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro.
