The ADAM Sub15 is an active studio subwoofer designed for use in various studios, including home studios, or as part of a home stereo system. It meets the requirements set by Dolby for home theaters.

At the core of the ADAM Sub15 is a specially designed 15" low-frequency driver, made with an extremely durable aluminum membrane and activated by two powerful magnets and a 100 mm voice coil. It is housed in a "closed box" enclosure. All adjustment elements are located on the rear panel: phase switch, switchable low-pass filter, continuous adjustment of input sensitivity from -60 to +6 dB, and a continuous low-pass filter. The maximum output power of the built-in amplifier is 1000 watts RMS, with a maximum sound pressure of >= 112 dB at a distance of 1 meter.
The ADAM Sub15 also features an auto power off mode switch after 15 minutes of inactivity, which can be monitored with two LED indicators on the front panel. Additionally, this subwoofer, like all ADAM Sub-series subwoofers, offers balanced and unbalanced XLR and RCA inputs and outputs. This allows you to connect the device to almost any studio monitor system to expand the range, or as an LFE channel in surround sound systems.
