The hybrid driver-amplifier class high-end Stax SRM-700T from the globally renowned manufacturer of electrostatic equipment. The Stax SRM-700T driver-amplifier is a further development of the hybrid T-series amplifier range from the company, with the flagship SRM-T8000 Silver being the first representative.
Two GT 6SN7 tubes were used in the output stage of the SRM-700T driver-amplifier, while custom-made dual operational amplifiers with field transistors are used in the input stage, providing an exceptionally low noise level and a high amplification coefficient without any distortion. The 6SN7 electronic tube, which is a further development of the 6FQ7 tube, achieves the simple task of providing a high-power, yet exceptionally balanced and accurate signal at the output.
Thus, the tubes provide a clean sound with high rise speed and give it even more warmth, purity, and spaciousness while preserving absolutely all the details and nuances. The hybrid-type driver-amplifier uses a high-quality non-inductive winding resistor from VISHAY Co as the load resistance.
The support legs of the device are made of aluminum, and the supporting "heel" is made of a special vibration-resistant material with a high coefficient of friction, so the user does not have to hold the driver-amplifier when connecting wires.
