The SSL Matrix Surround Monitor board converts inputs from external audio sources EXT A and B from stereo to 5.1, and the stereo monitor outputs to two 5.1 outputs. This provides 2 input channels for monitoring 5.1 and 2 sets of 5.1 speakers for switching between them and controlling with the central Matrix section.
