Compressor with an aggressive character and unique sound characteristic
The B series dynamics module features a compressor/limiter with three fixed stepped compression ratios: 2:1, 4:1, 10:1, and an additional "DS" mode. The "DS" mode is a fixed 10:1 ratio with an additional side chain filter. The distinctive topology makes the B-series dynamics module a more characteristic and colorful dynamics processor than the E-series. Its gate/expander can operate as a 20:1 gate or a 2:1 expander when the EXP button is pressed. The OUT trim can also bypass the gate/expander circuit independently of the compressor.
