The Ruark Audio Talisman-R is the fourth generation of iconic floor-standing speakers, revived by the British brand for their 40th anniversary. These speakers are designed for those who value interior aesthetics as much as impeccable sound quality.
The detailed and natural sound is ensured by custom drivers made of natural materials:
165mm bass/midrange driver: featuring the signature long-throw Ruark NS+ woofer with a fiber cone and a dual-layer copper voice coil.
27mm tweeter: silk dome high-frequency driver with a powerful neodymium magnetic system.
The second-order crossover is phase-optimized and assembled with high-quality components (precision resistors, low-loss coils), guaranteeing a cohesive stereo image with minimal distortion.
The speakers are designed in a compact two-way format with a 14.5-liter volume phased-inverted enclosure. The main design feature is the front panel decoupling technology. The panel is attached to the main body via elastomer bushings and double damping strips, isolating the speaker vibrations and preventing sound coloration.
Inside the enclosure, there is a bracing system and composite absorber to eliminate standing waves. The speakers are supported by a massive 10mm steel plate with adjustable spikes, creating a "floating" effect in the air.
The speakers are available in premium finishes: matte walnut veneer or gray lacquer with removable magnetic grilles made of acoustically transparent fabric. The Talisman-R pairs perfectly with Ruark's signature music consoles R610 and R710, forming a complete Hi-Fi system.
