Hi-Fi turntable with direct drive
The TURN5 Reloop HiFi introduces a turntable with quartz control and direct drive, meeting the highest sound quality standards. Drawing from our experience, we have developed a new HiFi turntable that is technically superior in its class.
Powerful direct current motor and low-resonance cast disc
The brushless direct current motor with direct drive provides a powerful drive with very stable rotation, while the TURN5 is manufactured using precision pressure casting technologies. The dampening rubber base of the turntable system eliminates any unwanted resonance, and the accompanying 5-millimeter rubber coating also protects against vibrations, ensuring exceptional sound reproduction.
High-quality control elements and connections
Three motor speeds can be selected using convenient controls on top: 33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM. This means that the TURN5 can also play old shellac records with the appropriate mono system (not included). Next to it is a large start/stop button. The universal SME locking mechanism on the tonearm allows for quick and easy shell replacement. Additionally, the included counterweight supports a variety of cartridges, including heavier ones. On the rear panel of the TURN5 are gold-plated RCA connectors with separate grounding to prevent interference. All cable connection terminals are recessed for maximum protection. The power cable and RCA cable can be easily replaced.
Static balanced S-tonearm
The TURN5 features a static balanced S-shaped tonearm. It comes with a hydraulic lifter and anti-skating adjustment with convenient VTA height adjustment lock, ensuring optimal cartridge performance and accurate record playback. The included Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is pre-mounted on the shell and offers phenomenal sound quality due to its elliptical cut.
Elegant design in a particularly robust construction
The chassis is built on a sturdy metal frame with dampening feet to isolate unwanted vibrations and reduce ambient noise. The combination of multiple materials gives the chassis added rigidity. The deep black lacquer finish makes the TURN5 elegant and timeless. The gold-plated turntable hovers harmoniously above the plinth, focusing attention on the record.
