The turntable is based on a direct quartz drive and a powerful 16-pole 3-phase brushless DC motor. The motor provides an adjustable starting torque from 2.8 to 4.5 kg/cm, and allows setting the stop time within 0.2 - 6 seconds. The playback speed can be set to 33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM modes. The Reverse mechanism helps play the record backwards. The support disc is made of durable cast aluminum, weighs approximately 1.5 kg, and has a diameter of 332 mm. The S-shaped statically balanced aluminum tonearm is equipped with hydraulic suspension and an anti-skating mechanism, with an effective length of 230 mm. The standard SME connector is used to connect the cartridge. The Play/Stop, speed selection, and reverse buttons are made of steel. Finally, pitch adjustment can be made within the ranges of +/-8%, +/-16%, or +/-50%.
The main difference of this model from others in the series is the panel with seven pads with colored backlight. With these in Platter Play mode, you can control the pitch of the record by assigning notes using the built-in digital interface. Control is presented with four backlit buttons and an encoder. The values of the adjusted parameters are displayed on the LCD screen. A MIDI keyboard can be connected to the USB-A TT Link port and used instead of the pads.
The USB-B port is used to output the digital signal from the turntable, for example, to the Reloop Elite DJ mixer. Compatibility with Serato DJ software for Windows and macOS platforms is supported. The built-in phono preamp allows for the output of an analog audio signal, with the output provided by an RCA connector with a separate contact for grounding. The front panel is covered with high-quality scratch-resistant paint, and there are damping feet for stable positioning of the device on the table.
