Rane One is a motorized controller designed for Serato DJ, specially made for scratch DJs. This two-channel controller features 7-inch reinforced jog wheels based on the Rane Twelve players, and a mixer that resembles a trimmed-down Rane Seventy. The mixer is equipped with FX switches and a high-quality Mag Four XF crossfader with curve adjustment for both the crossfader and upfaders.
The controller has 16 rubberized RGB-lit pads - 8 per deck, for controlling Serato functionalities (including the new Scratch Bank feature) and soft buttons for start/stop, similar to those on the Rane Twelve players. Each deck includes Hot Cue, Pitch'n Time, Saved Loop, Roll, Sampler, Slicer, and the Scratch Bank function in Serato DJ Pro. For connectivity, there are balanced master outputs, booth outputs, two microphone channels, an additional input, and inputs for two additional decks switchable from line to phono.
Additionally, it features touch strips for track navigation, slip mode, dedicated library encoders and buttons for each channel, two USB ports for easy DJ switchovers, and two headphone jacks. The controller has a full-metal construction and is equipped with two high-torque direct-drive motors. It also includes access to Serato DJ Pro, although the Pitch Play feature will require the Pitch ‘n Time software expansion pack.
