The Connect it E series cables offer a favorable balance of quality and price thanks to advanced technologies. The goal in developing the Connect it E cables was to create neutral audiophile cables at a reasonable price. Emphasis was placed on material quality to eliminate signal loss.
The conductors are made of oxygen-free OFC copper with 99.99% purity, ensuring high signal transmission quality. The cable's dielectric, shielding, and manufacturing quality are important as well. The dielectric determines the cable's capacitance, which is crucial. Technically, air is the best dielectric, but it is impossible to use in reality. Pro-Ject uses polyethylene (PE), which has excellent insulation characteristics.
Interconnect and phono cables, except for True Balanced, have a semi-symmetrical design, meaning the screen is connected on only one side. Therefore, cables with yellow markings should always be connected to the signal receiver.
All E-Line cable connectors are equipped with gold-plated brass contacts for durability and reliable connections.
