Ortofon Reference is a versatile cable that will be an excellent addition to any audio equipment. The sound is relaxed, warm, dynamic, and has high resolution.
The cable has a capacitance of 190 pF/m and is made of 4N OFC (oxygen-free copper) and 4N HiFC (high-performance pure copper) conductors.
Reference Red is surrounded by a shield made of 16 sets of copper wires measuring 0.1 x 10 mm and aluminum to reduce electromagnetic noise. The gold-plated RCA connectors ensure easy, stable, and reliable connection.
Inside the cable, there are two conductors consisting of multiple strands of different diameters. Around the central OFC copper strand with a diameter of 0.5 mm, there are 7 additional strands of the same copper with a diameter of 0.32 mm.
