The Mytek Manhattan AMP was designed as a digital and analog playback preamplifier and audio center. It comes equipped with a high-quality high-current headphone amplifier with single-ended and balanced outputs, designed to work with the most demanding high-end headphones. It also features an analog remote-controlled volume control, selection of analog inputs for external sources such as vinyl, and options for a built-in phono preamplifier and SACD DSD optical digital input.
The DAC is capable of converting high-resolution PCM audio up to 384 kHz and DSD audio (up to 256x DSD via USB2 and FW) through high-speed USB 2.0, FireWire, AES/EBU, SPDIF, or TOSLINK. The "plug and play" feature without drivers is provided through the USB 1.1 port (for PCM audio up to 96 kHz).
