Mytek Empire Monoblock is the name of the second product introduced in the new Mytek Empire line. It is the perfect complement to the device that started this product line, the Mytek Empire Streamer DAC.

At the heart of the Mytek Empire Monoblock is the newly designed Mytek GanFET power module, a power amplifier using the latest line of ultra-fast gallium nitride transistors.
The output stages utilize gallium nitride transistors (GanFET) to ensure extremely low harmonic distortion with low transient intermodulation distortion. Output power is 1000W at 4 Ohms or 500W at 8 Ohms. Average THD is 0.005%, amplification is 23/29 dB. Input impedance is 10 kOhms. Inputs include regular (RCA) and balanced (XLR).
Thanks to the wonders of GanFET technology, distortions resulting from transistor switching are reduced to a level that provides very smooth negative feedback and triode-like behavior in the output stage transfer function. The resulting sound features silky smooth highs and beautiful mids with a three-dimensional soundstage and detail, similar to the best tube amplifiers, while maintaining the tight bass, control, and dynamics of a large transistor amplifier.
