The Wow! Signal is the tenth studio album from the legendary British rock band Muse, marking a new chapter in the group’s creative journey. The title is inspired by the famous "Wow!" signal—a mysterious narrowband radio transmission detected in 1977, which remains one of the most discussed events in the history of the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. This concept serves as the foundation for the album, transforming themes of cosmic mystery, human curiosity, and the yearning to connect with the unknown into an expansive musical voyage.
This limited edition of The Wow! Signal, pressed on striking red vinyl, is a must-have for collectors and fans of Muse. The record fuses the band’s signature alternative rock power with electronic experimentation, atmospheric synthesizer textures, and a cinematic soundscape. At its core, the album explores themes of technology, the future of humanity, the search for identity, internal conflict, and the hope for a new understanding of the world.
This new phase for Muse is showcased in the single "Be With You," which highlights the band’s drive to explore uncharted sonic territories while retaining the distinct emotional intensity, drama, and grand scale that have allowed them to conquer the world’s biggest stages. The Wow! Signal is an album about the secrets of the universe—and about humanity’s persistent quest for answers, even beyond the conventional boundaries of what is considered possible.
