McIntosh MA2375 is a two-channel fully tube integrated amplifier of premium class, marking the triumphant return of the legendary American brand to the segment of purely tube integrated solutions after more than a decade-long hiatus. The model combines a fully analog tube preamplifier and a powerful tube output stage in one monumental 42.2 kg housing.
Construction and Tube Arsenal

The amplifier is built on a signature dual-layer chassis made of polished stainless steel with a black matte top panel. On the front, in addition to traditional blue-lit arrow voltmeters and a green logo, there is an open line of tubes. The preamplification section operates on two 12AX7A tubes and two 12AT7 tubes. The output stage is built on four powerful KT88 vacuum tubes, controlled by four 12AT7 drivers. When switching on, the preamp tubes smoothly change their illumination from orange to the working green.
Power and Signature Technologies
Thanks to the famous McIntosh Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers, the amplifier delivers honest 75 watts per channel. This power is completely independent of the speaker impedance and remains constant when working with speakers at 4, 8, or 16 ohms. To ensure maximum reliability of expensive components, the MA2375 integrates the Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor (SGS) lamp protection system and the Sentry Monitor short-circuit protection technology.
Functionality and Interfaces
The amplifier is designed for uncompromising analog sound enthusiasts — it completely lacks digital inputs and a built-in DAC. The connectivity includes:
- Integrated amplifier
- Manual
Analog inputs: 2 balanced XLR and 3 line RCA.

Turntable: Universal adjustable solid-state phono preamplifier for MM and MC cartridges with gain, capacitance, and resistance adjustment right from the front panel.
Equalization: 5-band analog tone control for precise frequency correction.
Outputs: Active subwoofer connector and powerful High Drive headphone output with channel separation system HXD.
