Dual Mode Switching Amp Out
One of the things that makes the iRig HD2 unique is the ability to send your processed signal directly to the guitar amplifier without the need for special adapters. The iRig HD2 is equipped with an unbalanced 1/4" Amp Out jack that you can use to send processed or unprocessed guitar signals to an external amplifier, floor tuner, or completely different equipment for live performance. The Amp Out jack has a dual mode switch, allowing you to select the type of signal to send to the amplifier.
Integrated Headphone Output
The iRig HD2 features a new 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack with a preamplifier and level control integrated into the device, so you can monitor your recording and performance.
But this is not your typical standard headphone jack - it has a high-resolution headphone preamplifier that optimizes the audio signal for full-range playback and monitoring. You can also use this output to transfer stereo signals to a mixer or a pair of active monitors, such as the iLoud Micro Monitor.
