Furutech LAN-8 NCF Plus is a beautifully designed Category 8 RJ45 Ethernet cable with S/FTP shielding for high-speed signal transfer. This new generation of Furutech LAN-8 NCF cables offers a major advantage. It features single-core conductors for improved signal stability and clarity. Single-core conductors minimize signal loss and interference. In addition, the Plus version has a thicker diameter (0.8mm vs. 0.7mm) for improved shielding and noise isolation.

Furutech LAN-8 NCF Plus : Furutech Nano Crystal Formula
The connectors on this cable use NCF technology. Integrated into a selection of Furutech products, NCF is based on a special crystalline material with two active properties. First, NCF generates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. And secondly, it converts thermal energy into infrared. Furutech combines this material with Ceramic nano particles and Carbon powder for their piezoelectric damping properties. The result is Furutech's optimum electrical and mechanical damping material.
Furutech LAN-8 NCF Plus : Ethernet Category 8
The new Ethernet Category 8 specification delivers improved performance. This includes improvements in crosstalk and noise compared to Category 7, with additional shielding for each wire pair and for the cable as a whole. In addition to the extra shielding, LAN-8 NCF features twisted pairs with a higher number of twists per unit length for increased RF shielding and crosstalk protection.
In terms of data rates, Category 8 supports 40 Gigabit Ethernet and frequencies up to 2000MHz. Resistant to interference, it offers a fast, stable network environment.
Furutech LAN-8 NCF Plus : High-end materials
The LAN-8 NCF cable uses top-of-the-range materials to ensure maximum performance. It features high-purity OCC copper conductors with silver plating and a cross-section of 0.205mm² (24AWG). The cable also benefits from triple shielding with aluminum foil and braided copper for maximum noise isolation. The connectors are treated with the non-magnetic cryogenic α (Alpha) process and gold-plated, using the brand's NCF technology. Finally, the cable is covered with a UL/CL3 and RoHS-certified PVC sheath, then wrapped in a braided Nylon sheath.
