Furutech Digital Ref.III (RCA) - Digital Interconnect Cable
The Furutech Digital Ref.III (RCA) is a digital audio interconnect cable. The manufacturer uses a 37-strand OOC alpha conductor as the base for manufacturing this cable, which undergoes the patented alpha processing technology based on double cryogenic freezing with demagnetization.
Features:
- Conductor: Multi-strand PCOCC copper
- Shield: Copper braid
- Dielectric: Polypropylene
- Outer jacket diameter: 10.5 mm
- Outer jacket material: Nylon
- Capacitance: 56 pF/m
- Resistance: 25.1 Ohm/km
- Impedance: 75 ± 5 Ohm
- Connectors: RCA-RCA
The conductor is double-insulated with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and foamed air for vibration damping. The first shield is made of a 0.12 mm thick alpha conductor (80% coverage) and is covered with a dual-layer aquamarine-colored flexible PVC sheath.
The second shield consists of a special braided fiberglass and copper wire shield. The outer sheath is made of nylon thread. Additional signal protection is provided by the Formula GC-303 technology module, responsible for suppressing electromagnetic and noise interference. The manufacturer uses FP-106(R) RCA connectors.
The base of this connector is made of rhodium-plated non-magnetic eutectic cast brass with a beautifully finished non-magnetic brass outer locking shell. The central heating pin is made of rhodium-plated non-magnetic phosphor bronze with a Teflon dielectric.
