The "Pure Transmission" concept from Furutech utilizes anti-resonant materials in connectors and accessories to minimize the effects of molecular friction and piezoelectric losses. At the core of the cable lies a silver-plated conductor made of oxygen-free copper, produced using alpha technology involving two-stage cryogenic freezing and demagnetization, which the manufacturers claim enhances the cable's electrical properties. Foamed polyethylene is used as the main insulation. Four layers of shielding are applied for noise and interference protection.
The cable features two rhodium connectors: L-DIN and FP-126(R). Thanks to the rhodium plating, the contacts have very low resistance.
