The EarAcoustic SPA Hi-End MAX Collector’s Version brings the Silver Angel series’ musical character to an elegantly finished pair of wired in-ear monitors. Its tuning aims to combine a warm, inviting presentation with clearly separated instruments and a spacious sense of scale. From intimate vocal recordings to layered instrumental arrangements, the emphasis is on keeping musical detail connected to the performance as a whole. A specified frequency response of 5 Hz–40 kHz complements the design’s focus on extension and subtle detail.
A Carefully Engineered Dynamic Driver
Each earpiece houses an 11.4 mm dynamic driver with a dual magnetic circuit and a dual-chamber acoustic structure. A titanium dome works with a double-sided silicon-crystal surround, combining rigidity at the centre of the diaphragm with controlled movement around its edge. The magnetic system and carefully shaped acoustic chambers are designed to support responsive dynamics and a coherent presentation across the frequency range. With a rated impedance of 30 ohms and sensitivity of 109 dB, the MAX is well suited to a dedicated portable player or a capable DAC and headphone amplifier.
Precision Metalwork with a Distinctive Finish
The silver finish gives these wired in-ear monitors a distinctive presence, pairing reflective surfaces with richly textured faceplates. The MAX housing uses aviation-grade aluminium alloy shaped through five-axis CNC machining and finished with mirror-silver electroplating. Its contoured inner surface is designed to follow the ear, while interchangeable ear tips help listeners find a comfortable seal. The result is a combination of detailed metalwork, practical fit adjustment and a recognisable collector’s aesthetic.
A Detachable Cable for Lasting Flexibility
The supplied 1.2 m cable combines oxygen-free copper and silver-plated conductors in a Litz coaxial construction. Its flexible design supports comfortable routing around the ears, while detachable 0.78 mm two-pin connections make cable replacement straightforward. This arrangement adds practical flexibility to the listening setup and allows the earphones to remain in use if the cable needs replacing.
