The Audio Pro SPW-5 is a versatile active loudspeaker designed to deliver clear, detailed sound in commercial spaces. Suitable for wall or ceiling installation, it is an excellent choice for restaurants, cafés, retail stores, showrooms, offices and other environments where reliable background music and high-quality audio are essential.
Powered by a digital Class D amplifier rated at 2 × 25 W, the SPW-5 combines a two-way speaker design with a passive radiator and digital signal processing (DSP) to provide a balanced, engaging listening experience. Its frequency response of 55 Hz–22 kHz supports detailed high frequencies and well-defined bass, making it suitable for a wide range of audio content.
The dedicated 1.9 GHz wireless system enables convenient audio distribution without the need for traditional signal cables between compatible system components. With a wireless operating range of approximately 20–100 metres, depending on environmental conditions, the speaker offers flexibility when planning commercial sound installations. Plug-and-play operation simplifies setup, while compatibility with Mac, PC and analogue audio sources makes integration into different audio systems straightforward. A wired operating mode is also supported.
Designed for demanding environments, the SPW-5 features an IPX4 rating for protection against water splashes. This makes it suitable for selected indoor and outdoor applications when installed appropriately. Its understated Scandinavian styling blends naturally into a variety of commercial interiors, while the choice of Black or White allows the speaker to complement different design schemes.
For larger installations, the SPW-5 supports multi-speaker configurations with up to six volume zones and up to 31 speakers, making it a practical solution for businesses that require consistent audio coverage across multiple areas. Please note that a compatible Audio Pro Business TX-1 transmitter and VOL-1 volume controller are required for the wireless system.
