The Arturia AudioFuse X8 OUT expansion card is a device that connects to existing audio equipment via ADAT and offers eight additional outputs. This device is ideal for electronic musicians and producers. Additionally, the module will be useful in small recording studios looking to expand their capabilities for recording instruments, signal processing, and mix monitoring.
Features:
- 8 analog line outputs (TRS)
- Supports sampling frequencies up to 96 kHz
- 2 ADAT optical inputs with SMUX support
- CV signal transmission via DC-coupled outputs
- Compact half-rack chassis with a height of 1U
- Includes Arturia Creative Suite software
- WordClock input (BNC)
The ADAT-expansion AudioFuse X8 OUT provides eight outputs. The device is built around TRS connectors but does not include microphone preamplifiers. This module will be an effective addition to the previously released 16Rig audio interface, which is equipped with microphone inputs.
The AudioFuse X8 OUT is equipped with eight matched analog outputs for connecting additional pairs of monitors and external processors. Like the X8 IN, this model has a Word Clock input and Sync button for signal synchronization. It is noted that synchronization operates in three modes - Word, ADAT, ADAT SMUX, with the latter providing "signal conversion of the highest quality."
The device is compatible with any audio interfaces equipped with ADAT connectors. No additional actions are required to expand the number of channels - the model is ready to use immediately after connecting to the sound card and plugging it in.
The device's casing is in a rack format, but the input and output expanders individually only take up half of the unit. Owners can mount the X8 OUT and X8 IN devices together in a single unit, saving space in the rack.
Package includes:
- Audio interface
- Power supply
- Manual
