The pinnacle of the A series, the A8H is a 3-way acoustic system that delivers extremely precise and analytical sound. Featuring an 8-inch woofer with a resonant multi-layer mineral fiber (MLM), an innovative midrange driver, and a handcrafted X-ART tweeter, the A8H offers a wide frequency range.

Like other members of the A Series family, the A8H offers incredible flexibility for precise sound tuning thanks to the HPS waveguide technology and built-in DSP. With a wide range of audio applications in medium and large rooms, the A8H is the right choice when you need the most detailed representation of your sound.
All A Series monitors based on DSP technology can be remotely controlled and in real time via Ethernet using A Control. The HPS waveguide, made of a new polymer-glass fiber compound, allows the X-ART tweeter to distribute sound with controlled consistency. The new A series cabinets are based on ADAM Audio's heritage, particularly the AX series.
Functional DSP processor
The A Series uses DSP-based digitization for greater tuning accuracy compared to analog monitors. With built-in software that can be updated via Ethernet connection, you can expect integration of ADAM Audio's latest DSP-based features, including new filter types and functions, as well as alternative sound options.
Room correction system
On the back panel of the A Series speakers, you will find four room alignment modes tailored to the environment: bass, desk, presence, and high frequencies. Each band is adjustable with pre-defined steps, offering more than 100 tuning options to help compensate for typical acoustic issues that arise when placing speakers.
Voicing
Voicing is the preset sound profile of the A Series monitors. On the back panel, you will find two different selection options: UNR and Pure. There is also an option for extended functionality provided by Ethernet connectivity.
- UNR or Uniform Natural Response is a dynamic and naturally sounding response curve of ADAM Audio's own design.
- Pure is a high-precision and neutral sound option ideal for mixing and mastering.
Bass reflex system, enclosure, and assembly
The new A Series enclosures are based on ADAM Audio's heritage and the AX series. In an evolutionary design, the A Series enclosures have deeper chamfers to further reduce diffraction. Thicker partitions reinforce the enclosure and reduce internal vibrations, while the expanding hole design optimizes airflow and reduces noise levels. All A Series drivers have mounts on the bottom, allowing flexible mounting where needed.
