U-24 Portable Audio Interface
The U-24 is a compact audio interface with two inputs and four outputs, providing you with all the necessary tools for recording and playing back high-quality audio (24-bit/96 kHz) wherever you are. The sound quality is ensured by the low-noise preamps, the same as those found in the highly acclaimed H5 and H6 handheld recorders. Connect to your PC, Mac, or iPad via the USB port and record from microphones, instruments, and any other audio sources. The U-24 delivers the same sound quality as the larger U-44 model, which offers additional features and more inputs.
Portable Audio Interface
The U-24 can be powered via the USB port, and all its functionality is contained in a compact housing that fits in the palm of your hand. With the U-24, you can record from microphones, musical instruments, and other signal sources at home or on the go. Compatible with iPad*, the U-24 is so small that you can easily take it with you. It can also be powered by just two AA batteries, allowing you to use it in any situation.
Clean Recording and Playback
Inspired by Zoom's line of handheld recorders (H1, H2n, H4n, H5, H6), the U-24 features high-quality low-noise microphone preamps (equivalent input noise -119.5 dB) that allow recording at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. Additionally, you can use the U-24 as a studio-quality headphone amplifier to enjoy your favorite music with maximum fidelity.
Inputs and Outputs
The U-24 audio interface is equipped with a sufficient number of inputs and outputs for convenient and high-quality recording. Two combo inputs with independent gain control knobs and full-color level indicators allow you to connect microphones, keyboards, mixers, and more. Phantom power (48V) can be supplied to both inputs, and the first input is a Hi-Z input for connecting guitars, bass guitars, and other passive instruments. MIDI input and audio outputs allow you to use devices such as keyboards, controllers, synthesizers, and drum machines.
TRS and RCA outputs provide multiple options for connecting DJ mixers, monitors, and other equipment. An independent headphone output with its own volume control gives you additional flexibility for monitoring during recording.
Fine-tuning
The U-24 provides you with great monitoring flexibility with zero latency. Whether you're a DJ adjusting the balance of the signal in your headphones and the main output, or creating a mix of click tracks and main signals during live performances, the U-24 allows you to do so effortlessly. All connectors and knobs are located on the U-24 housing for maximum convenience and easy access.
