Touchscreen Control
The color touchscreen interface makes monitoring, settings, and editing processes easy. All important functions can be accessed with a simple touch on the display.
Microphone Preamp Slider
The Mic Preamp slider allows you to set the volume or gain for each microphone. Adjust these parameters until the signal reaches the "Good" mark on the indicator. If the signal reaches the "Over" mark during peak moments, it means the sound may distort.
High-Frequency Filter
The built-in high-frequency filter cuts low-frequency noises that occur in almost any recording conditions, such as air conditioning hum, street noise, vibrations, etc.
Compressor/De-Esser
The compressor and de-esser functions allow you to further refine the voice sound quality and achieve the perfect "studio" voice for your podcasts.
Multi-Language Interface
The P8 touchscreen display supports six languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Japanese.
Crystal Clear Recording
The PodTrak P8 features the best microphone inputs available from Zoom, allowing you to record all your guests in excellent quality. With up to 70 dB of gain, the P8 can be used with even the most demanding microphones*.

Your Call Will Be Recorded
The P8 has a separate channel for recording phone calls. Channel 6 can also be switched to USB mode for recording audio from your computer. In both cases, the Mix-Minus function is available to automatically eliminate echo and feedback for your caller.
ON AIR Button
With the ON AIR button off, you will still hear the sound transmitted on that track, but it will not be recorded or broadcasted to the speakers or USB. This feature is useful for conducting parallel conversations or preparing guests during breaks.
Elevate Your Level
Add professionalism to your podcast by triggering sound effects, background music, jingles, or pre-recorded interviews with nine assignable buttons with colorful backlighting. Choose from 13 preset sounds or load your own. You can save up to 4 sound banks, providing you with up to 36 audio clips for quick access at any time.
Versatile Outputs
The P8 features six independent headphone outputs, each with its own volume control. For professional playback, the main P8 outputs can be connected to your studio monitors.
Take Your Studio With You
When recording podcasts outside the studio, the P8 provides up to two hours of continuous recording, powered by four AA batteries. For longer operation, you can connect an external battery via USB.
Audio Interface Mode
The built-in USB-C port allows you to connect to a computer and use the PodTrak P8 as an audio interface for recording audio and online streaming.
