The Zoom AMS-24 is a portable 2-channel USB audio interface designed for music recording and live performance streaming. This device supports a 24-bit/96 kHz sampling frequency and is compatible with computers and mobile devices running on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
Features:
- Suitable for recording and streaming
- 2 built-in preamps up to +58 dB
- +48V phantom power for condenser microphones
- 2 XLR/6.3mm combo inputs
- Loopback function
- Dual 6.3mm output
- 2 3.5mm headphone outputs with direct monitoring
The Zoom AMS-24 is ideal for simplifying sound signal control for musicians during streaming. A switch on the device allows for quick selection of operating modes. In "Music" mode, each input channel is transmitted separately with its independent gain level adjustment for music recording. In "Streaming" mode, all input channels are mixed into one, allowing for seamless operation with streaming applications.
The Loopback function enables adding background music directly from the same device connected to the interface via USB. The Direct Monitor function allows for sending input signal directly to the monitoring headphones without delays.
The device is equipped with two built-in high-performance preamps with up to +58 dB adjustment, as well as two XLR/6.3mm combo inputs for instruments and microphones. The switch on the interface's housing can turn on or off the 48V phantom power needed for condenser microphones.
The Zoom AMS-24 is powered via the USB cable connected to the computer. When using with mobile devices, an additional power source, such as a smartphone charger or portable battery, needs to be connected to the second USB input of the interface. Additionally, the interface can operate on a pair of AA batteries.
